Hot Stone

A deeply relaxing massage that combines the penetrating effect of hot stones with soothing manual massage. Basaltic river rocks are heated and strategically placed on or under the client and/or used as massage tools. The therapy can relax deep muscular tissue and soothe aching joints while feeling gentle and relaxing.

Aromatherapy

The inclusion of pure essential oils is used to enhance the benefits of a relaxational massage. The essential oils may be used for inhalation only, or blended into the massage cream. Select one of our essential oils or consult a therapist on which would be best suited for your needs.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity, maintain it in optimal condition and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries. It works well for highly athletic individuals and for weekend warriors (that overdo it at times).

Reflexology

Reflexology is pressure point massage performed on the feet or hands to stimulate circulation and is based on the belief that there are reflex points on the feet (or hands) that correspond to parts of the body, e.g. internal organs and joints. Manipulating those parts of the feet (or hands) can have direct effects on corresponding parts of the body.

Paraffin

Paraffin wax is a luxurious spa treatment for your hands that is intended to moisturize and soften the skin. Paraffin wax treatments are particularly popular in the winter because they are warming and help moisturize dry and cracked skin. During treatments the skin is bathed in warmth which helps the pores to open and the skin to soften.

Neuromuscular Massage

Massage balances the body’s central nervous system with soft tissue manipulation. The goal is to relieve the pain by alleviating the underlying cause. NMT emphasizes the role of the brain, spine, and nerves which cause muscular pain. It aims to relax muscles and release compressed nerves by using advanced pressure therapy so that circulation can increase and the body will return to normal neuromuscular integrity and balance.

Myofascial Release

This is a technique that works on underlying connective tissue and or trigger points to relieve pain by releasing connective tissue to facilitate the release of chronic muscular tensions restricting posture, movement and circulation.

Lymphatic Drainage

This is a gentle, rhythmic technique intended to increase circulation and drain trapped water and toxins from the body through the lymphatic system using delicate, wavelike movements on the face and neck or entire body. Used to reduce swelling, detoxify, regenerate tissue, and relieve pain and stress. Lymphatic drainage is especially beneficial for lymphedema and post-surgical swelling.
